Wold worked with Grandview Medical Center to design the new 20,000-square-foot Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit in Birmingham, Alabama, expanding access to high-quality, patient-centered care.
The new space includes 17 inpatient rehab beds with room to grow, an enlarged therapy gym, a dedicated ADL suite, and a warming kitchen. Designed with recovery in mind, the light-filled environment supports mobility, independence, and an enhanced patient experience.
Expanded therapy areas enable more advanced, individualized care - helping patients transition confidently from hospital to home while supporting Grandview’s continued growth.
