The Worthington Learning Center is committed to supporting students in achieving their academic potential so they can become successful citizens.
The Worthington Learning Center offers programming for students in grades 7-12 through various options to support every student’s individual needs. The program was previously housed in a former elementary school building, which did not adequately support the program’s growth or its educational initiatives; thus, a new facility was planned.
The new building is designed for 140 students and is co-located with the district’s gymnastics program. These programs share a commons to foster community gathering, student dining and collaboration, and the facility will have an open, welcoming atmosphere while being safe and secure. The thirteen labs and classrooms surround a flexible learning area to promote individual, small and large group activities and enhance student choice.
