Village of Baldwin - New Police Station

Wold Architects and Engineers was hired in October 2024 to design an addition and renovation to an existing facility that would house the Village of Baldwin’s Police Department.

The Village had recently purchased the building which housed the local Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) branch with the plan to co-locate the police department within the same facility. Wold was tasked with defining a clear separation between DNR and police operations, renovating both spaces, and designing a new police garage addition that would house the department’s fleet. The project also included a new pre-engineered metal building that could accommodate DNR vehicles and equipment.

The upgraded facility helps ensure the police department has modern, functional space to continue providing 24/7 coverage for Baldwin residents, including community-oriented services such as the school resource officer program, traffic and parking enforcement, and general public safety.
