The Ohio Township Fire Department engaged Wold to complete a facility study assessing the condition, functionality, and future needs of its existing facilities. The study concluded that demolishing the existing Paradise location and constructing a new station on the same site was the most cost-effective solution.
The new Station No. 2 was designed to support both current operations and future demands, with space for up to six apparatus, staff offices, bunk rooms, a day room, kitchen, and fitness facilities. Separate EMS accommodations were also incorporated, including living quarters for two responders and dedicated space for an ambulance. To maintain uninterrupted fire department operations, the demolition and construction process was carefully phased throughout implementation.
