Colorado Parks and Wildlife Law Enforcement Training Center

Wold Architects and Engineers assisted Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) with the construction administration phase of the renovation and addition of the Law Enforcement Training Center (LETC) and New Shop Building project at the Denver Headquarters site.

This LEED Gold, adaptive re-use project renovated and expanded a 1960’s-era glu-lam manufacturing warehouse to be the home of CPW’s law enforcement training at the Denver Headquarters location.

The design embraces the history of the site, as well as the organization’s public service and environment-focused mission, while looks toward the future to meet operational needs, embraces the campus-wide aesthetic of exposed wood structure, and extends the life of a facility asset to meet HPCP guidelines for sustainable design. This facility provides much-needed office space and state-of-the-art law enforcement training facilities for an efficient and positive training experience.

In addition to the LETC, a new facility shop, renovation of the Northeast Region Offices, and new water service are provided at the headquarters site.
