Lake Superior School District partnered with Wold to complete a major addition and renovation at William Kelley School, funded by the community’s $44.1 million bond referendum. Completed in fall 2024, the project replaces the former music wing with a two-story addition housing classrooms for the arts, natural sciences and family and consumer sciences, strengthening hands-on, career-connected learning. Additional upgrades include a secure main entrance, modernized woods and metals labs and critical infrastructure improvements ranging from ADA accessibility and lighting to boiler and roof replacements. The project also included bus garage renovations in Silver Bay and Two Harbors, enhancing district-wide operations and long-term efficiency.
