Following the completion of a pre-design, Isanti County chose to work with Wold to implement the proposed Sallyport Addition and Booking Remodel to their county jail.
While the vehicle sallyport addition added squad car capacity, Wold developed a solution that created better pedestrian circulation in and out of the facility and reprogrammed the existing vehicle sallyport into a pre-booking, arresting officer report writing area.
In addition, Wold designed a remodeling to the former Sergeants office to become a safe and appropriately sized new booking area. Minor upgrades were made to holding cells and all finishes were updated while the facility was down for construction
