Wold's long-standing relationship has created a strong bond with both the hospital and the community of Hutchinson. We have worked closely with the hospital, clinic, and behavioral health teams to refresh the patient experience, optimize operational efficiencies, and integrate the latest technologies and care models throughout their campus.
In 2019, Wold completed a pharmacy renovation for Hutchinson Health and then engaged in the emergency department (ED) expansion and renovation project. With all of the shifts occurring in healthcare, including being acquired by HealthPartners, Wold teamed up with the leadership, staff, and Hutchinson community to facilitate a Lean 3P event to develop a schematic plan for an ED expansion and renovation. Twenty-five stakeholders from leadership, unit directors, infection control, technology, facilities, architects, and the community were involved in the planning outcome. As there was initial preparation, the actual event allowed for a schematic plan to be developed in three days. This process allows Hutchinson to get estimates quickly so they understand where the budget stands and if modifications need to be made.
