Wold helped bring a new chapter for youth sports in Henderson to life through "The Plex", a 65-acre sports complex designed to serve young athletes, families, and the broader community. Envisioned as a first-class destination for both local play and regional competition, the facility was planned to balance performance, aesthetics, and long-term growth.
Phase 1 includes four turf baseball and softball fields, concession stands, and a multi-purpose field that supports both football and soccer, along with modern amenities and advanced field lighting. Designed with future expansion in mind, the complex will ultimately grow to include five additional baseball and softball fields, two more turf soccer fields, and a multi-purpose indoor facility. More than a sports venue, "The Plex" strengthens community connections, expands opportunities for local athletes, and positions Henderson to attract larger tournaments and events in the years ahead.
