Wold Architects and Engineers has a long-standing relationship with the City of Cottage Grove helping them plan and implement projects that meet the long-term goals for the city that align with the needs of a growing community.
In 2022, we assisted the Public Works Department study the development of a new Utilities Garage and office building to relieve space pressures at their existing Public Works Facility. As part of an overall site master plan that includes a water treatment plant, this facility is intended to be the first of a multi-phased project to relocate all Public Works operations to this new location.
Our team was tasked with developing an overall design theme for this facility that will be the template for all future work on this site.
In February of 2023, the City approved our team to complete the design and construction drawings and the project is expected to bid late summer of 2023 with construction completed by July 2024.
