Wold Architects and Engineers has a long-standing relationship with the City of Cottage Grove helping them plan and implement projects that meet the long-term goals for the city that align with the needs of a growing community.
In 2022, we assisted the Public Works Department study the development of a new utilities garage and office building to relieve space pressures at their existing public works facility. As part of an overall site master plan that includes a water treatment plant, this facility is intended to be the first of a multi-phased project to relocate all public works operations to this new location.
Our team was tasked with developing an overall design theme for this facility that will be the template for all future work on this site.
The design work for this new facility completed in the summer of 2024 and the public works department started using the facility in February of 2025.
