With Anoka County as a long-term client, they asked Wold to help start planning for a new 600+ bed Jail Facility in 2017 and recently hired us to begin the initial states of design.
Currently we are designing their new 911 Communications Center and a 7-level, 1,200 car parking ramp. This work will set the existing site up for the new Jail Facility. As we continue our design efforts, the County will look to complete construction by 2025.
The facility is planned to have mental health services, as well as be designed to accommodate the addition of at least 100+ more beds.
