Walsh School District hired Wold in the summer of 2018 to facilitate a process to evaluate existing facilities and to develop a master plan. The process identified several significant facility deficiencies, safety and security concerns, and challenges around excess square footage. The planning team proposed to the Walsh Board of Education to build a new PK-12 facility on the current Walsh High School site. The Board of Education then elected to submit a BEST Grant to build the new consolidated facility.
A BEST Grant was received in 2021, the District passed their bond election in November of 2021. The District hired Wold to design the new PK-12 school replacement.
