Bridgeforth Middle School, one of the oldest facilities in Giles County Schools, has been revitalized to support safer, healthier learning environments for students and staff. Wold worked with the district to modernize critical building systems while preserving the historic character of this important community landmark.
Originally constructed in 1958, the facility has served generations of students. This renovation ensures the building continues to meet today’s performance standards while extending its lifespan for years to come. Key improvements from the project include building system upgrades such as new HVAC systems in most classrooms, electrical service improvements, and water piping replacements. Other architectural enhancements strengthened the building envelope for improved energy efficiency, including high-performance storefront window systems, while new ceilings improved classroom acoustics and corridor aesthetics.
