Franklin Central High School Addition and Renovation

Franklin Central High School is a million-plus-square-foot campus with high-performing programs and constant demands on its facilities. Wold began with a comprehensive facility assessment to document existing conditions, identify gaps, and determine where spaces were no longer supporting daily operations or competitive equity. That work became the foundation for a nine-year, multi-phased improvement plan designed to keep the school fully operational while upgrading nearly every area of the campus. Current improvements include a new multi-court Activity Center with an indoor running track and event-ready infrastructure for show choir and large competitions, as well as a full-size indoor turf field serving football, soccer, and band.

Targeted renovations are also modernizing locker rooms, weight training areas, natatorium spaces, athletic offices, and the main athletic entry to improve safety, circulation, and event management. Together, these projects are moving Franklin Central from long-range planning into visible transformation, delivering facilities that better support students, staff, and community use across the district.
