Our relationship with Washington County has been ongoing since the 1960’s, working together to create multiple facility master plans and implement three major courts projects on their county campus.
Their recent courts additions and renovations consists of eight new courtrooms with another six shelled out for future finishing; a remodel of five existing courtrooms and support spaces; upgrades to building systems to improve operational efficiencies; and a new secure and accessible entry to the courts from the existing LEC and government center. The renovations also reorganize and restack the five-story government center. The design bridges the gap between the existing law enforcement center and the existing courthouse while creating a public link between all three facilities on campus.
Successful implementation of this complex and challenging, multi-phased project required close attention to Washington County’s needs and detailed project phasing in order to keep the project on time and on-budget without interrupting the operations of the county and their courts.
