In response to rapid growth in career and technical education, Seymour Community Schools expanded its Agricultural-Science Facility as part of the high school expansion. Since the facility’s construction five years ago, programs have grown quickly, and moving additional CTE programs to the Ag-Science Facility frees up space in the high school. This expansion is the first phase in preparing for full-day programs, projected to relocate more than 250 students from the main campus.
The new additions include machine trades, a welding classroom, an expanded food services program, and a greenhouse that doubles capacity. This project sets the stage for a larger master plan to support full-day CTE programs at the Agricultural-Science Facility, enhancing both student learning and program growth.
