Wold has a multi-year retainer contract with the Village of Schaumburg as part of the pre-qualified pool for architectural and engineering services for capital improvement project, facilities studies, etc.
The Teen Center is operated out of the Village’s historic Barn structure, which is also home to their Senior Center. Through a new partnership with the Boys & Girls Club, the Village hired Wold to design renovations to the existing space to engage teens and attract new users.
Wold facilitated a design input session with users of the facility to hear first hand what types of spaces they would be most drawn to interacting in and to generate excitement for the project. Working within the footprint on the existing space, and with a limited budget, the Village was able to transform the Teen Center into a highly attractive space for serving their teen population.
