Following the approval of a $93 million referendum in November 2022, Community Consolidated School District 15 (CCSD 15), consisting of 20 schools serving 7 municipalities, hired Wold to help design multiple projects within its Moving 15 Forward initiative. One of the priorities of Moving 15 Forward included expanding the district’s kindergarten program to accommodate the area’s growing families and uniquely diverse community.
Recently, the district started construction on Phase 2 additions to expand multiple buildings and provide full-day Kindergarten as an added benefit to the community and to prepare young learners for their primary school experience. The new kindergarten additions at multiple elementary school sites will improve student transitions from kindergarten into first grade and beyond. The 6 schools expanding to Full Day K include:

· Frank C. Whitely Elementary, Hoffman Estates, IL – 10,000 SF
· Lincoln Elementary, Palatine, IL – 10,000 SF
· Willow Bend Elementary, Rolling Meadows, IL – 3000 SF
· Kimball Hill Elementary, Rolling Meadows, IL – 6000 SF
· Pleasant Hill Elementary, Palatine, IL – 8000 SF
