St. Anthony Regional Hospital is an independent hub of healthcare excellence in central Iowa. Wold’s healthcare and senior living team has partnered with St. Anthony Regional Hospital for more than 35 years, planning and designing Centers of Excellence for their regional healthcare system. This long-term relationship has transitioned through multiple leaders in both organizations and truly lasted the test of time in our teaming commitment to creating state-of-the-art healthcare and senior living facilities to support St. Anthony’s mission - “We are inspired by faith and committed to excellence. We are dedicated to improving the health of the people we serve. We will lead in providing high quality, high-value healthcare services responsive to the needs of our patients and the region.”
This partnership has collaboratively planned and designed campus improvements throughout nearly all of St. Anthony Regional Hospital’s health and wellness campus. These improvements have reorganized the care models, enhanced the patient and family experiences, and improved the work environment for the team members in the medical / surgical inpatient care unit, birth center, emergency services, same day surgery, a new medical office building, a new cancer center, multiple satellite clinics, an assisted living residence, and all of the ancillary and support services for the campus.
All told, these projects have totaled more than $70M in facility investments and have impacted nearly 400,000 square feet of area across St. Anthony Regional Hospital’s health system. These projects have been wholeheartedly embraced by community stakeholders, St. Anthony’s leadership and staff, as well as being featured in Healthcare Design Magazine and nominated for several other regional planning and design awards.
