St. Patrick Catholic Church, Hartland

Woodstock, Illinois

In need for religious education classrooms and better fellowship facilities, the Parish explored new buildings and building additions as possible solutions.  After determining that these options were not within the financial capabilities of the Parish, we were commissioned to design the renovation of the existing basement fellowship space.

The new space provides a fully renovated and accessible building.  The new fellowship hall can seat over two hundred members, and is divisible with paired panel folding partitions into five religious education classrooms.  The space can be converted from one use to the other in minutes. The fellowship hall is supported by a new hospitality kitchen and fully accessible rest rooms. The lower level also includes renovated office space for the parish and religious education program. The new space has new heating, ventilation and air conditioning, lighting with occupancy sensor controls, electrical power, and data wiring to support all uses.
