Madonna Living Community

Rochester, Minnesota

Wold has completed 13 projects with Madonna Towers over the past 15 years, including renovations and additions to their existing campus. The most recent project, a 12,370sf memory care addition, serves memory care residents but is designed for conversion to assisted living if medical advances reduce the need for memory care in the near future.

There are 13 private rooms with private bathrooms (sink, toilet, roll-in shower) and two semi-private rooms. The common staff and resident areas consist of a living room, dining area, and an open seating area anchored by a two-sided fireplace. There are floor-to-ceiling windows in the dining area with a patio door that provide convenient access for the residents to the out of doors and pleasant views while they dine. Adjacent to this space is a residential-style kitchen for use by the residents and a staff serving kitchen. A private activities room is included in the design for special family events or small group activities and there is a separate day room.
