DeKalb Community Outreach Building

DeKalb County

After completing a space needs analysis for DeKalb County's Home Health Department, Wold worked with DeKalb County to develop a program for a new Community Outreach Building to be constructed on the existing county Health Department campus.

This project brought together five departments which had all previously existed in leased spaces - providing a breadth of shared amenities, ranging from a 60+ person multi-media training / seminar room to conferencing facilities to temperature controlled archival storage. Sharing this new facility will be Home Health, Regional Office of Education, Mental Health Board, Veterans Assistance and the Public Building Commission. The Home Health department provides work space for the County's home nursing staff, as well as medical supply storage and administrative offices.
