Cook County DHSEM

Wold was hired to plan and design the relocation of the Emergency Operations Center for Cook County Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management to an underutilized historic building on the County’s Oak Forest campus. A space needs analysis was completed to determine the appropriate space program for today, as well as the future. Significant components of the design include: an operations center supported by break-out planning/logistics rooms, executive conference rooms, staff offices and hoteling work stations, and a Joint Information Center for media briefings.
