As part of the City’s strategic growth, a new facility to support the community was needed. The City purchased 12 acres of land central to the city and developed the North Municipal Campus.

The Maintenance Facility incorporates various maintenance departments that were scattered throughout the community into one 40,000 SF facility. This includes vehicle maintenance, street maintenance, parks and solid waste. The administration area includes offices, meeting space, training space, break room and lockers. Additional design considerations included:

  • Landforms and landscaping used to screen facility
  • Design dictated by size and turning radii of vehicles and machinery
  • Site landscaping uses patterned paving around the public entry
