Horty Elving

Founded in 1955, three young architects, after completing advanced architectural studies (one in Sweden, one with Frank Lloyd Wright, and one with Eliel Saarinen), collaborated as the primary design team for the new Mayo Diagnostic Clinic. Energies sparked. Tom Horty, Bertil Fasth, and Edward Hillstrom desired greater personalization with clients in the generation of architectural ideas, design, and functionality.

Horty Elving specialized experience in healthcare and senior environments, campus planning and design, and supply services in planning, architecture, engineering and interior design. Horty Elving assisted over 500 healthcare facilities in the Midwest.
