Wold Architects and Horty Elving Come Together in St. Paul

Horty Elving rebranded as Wold -

Wold Architects and Engineers (Wold) is pleased to announce that on Monday, December 5, the staff of its Minneapolis-based healthcare firm Horty Elving, a Wold Company, moved to Wold’s headquarters in the historic First National Bank Building in downtown St. Paul. Horty Elving, which merged with Wold in 2014, is rebranding and will now be known as Wold.

“After two years of sharing resources across town from two separate offices, we made the logical decision to fully integrate our Minnesota forces in one location under a single name (brand), said Scott McQueen managing partner at Wold. “Our Horty Elving teams are leaders in hospital, clinic and senior living design; we’re pleased to continue delivering innovative, high-quality solutions for the clients and communities they serve under the name Wold.”

Rick Moore, principal, addressed the healthcare firm’s move, “In the past several years, our healthcare and senior living practices have grown. Our newly merged offices will allow our designers and engineers to enjoy greater strengths and efficiencies. Our clients will remain with the same talented people they have partnered with over the years. And on a personal note, we’re all happy to be in the same office – there are real synergies in being together in one place.”

Wold is a leader in architectural design, engineering, planning, energy efficiency, interior design and historic preservation for clients in cities and counties throughout the Midwest in the public environments including education, government, healthcare and senior living. With offices in Minnesota, Colorado, Iowa and Illinois, Wold employs more than 200 architects, engineers, interior designers and administrative personnel.
